Mersey Ferries' ROYAL DAFFODIL is seen on the
Manchester Ship Canal at two locations - near Weston Port, Runcorn
and at Ellesmere Port Docks on Saturday September 06, 2008. She was
operating a charter sailing for Peel Ports following the progress of
James Whittaker who was undertaking the first ever end to end swim
of the Manchester Ship Canal from Salford Quays to Eastham Locks to
raise funding for the
Manchester
New Children's Hospital Appeal. James Whittaker is
development director of Peel Holdings and son of the company's
proprietor John Whittaker. |
